American Bitcoin Posts Record Revenue, Grows Treasury Reserve to 8000+ BTC
American Bitcoin reported its second-quarter 2026 financial results on August 3, generating $67 million in revenue and maintaining gross margins near 50% despite a 12% decline in bitcoin prices. The company mined a record 932 bitcoins during the quarter, up from 817 in Q1.
American Bitcoin's treasury reserve grew to 8,002 BTC as of June 30, representing a 14% increase from March. This expansion was driven by the company's focus on long-term growth and its belief that bitcoin is a growing capital asset with compounding potential.
The company's production accounted for approximately 26% of all Bitcoin mined since launching operations in March 2025. The average cost to mine held steady at $36,500 per bitcoin, while revenue per bitcoin averaged $71,900.
American Bitcoin's CEO Mike Ho stated, 'Our view of the world is simple: Bitcoin is a growing capital asset, and we believe its long-term compounding will outperform our cost of capital.' The company's co-founder Eric Trump added that American Bitcoin's conviction in bitcoin remains absolute, with a goal to deliver relentless growth quarter after quarter.
