Anchorage Adds Tokenized Uranium to Custody Services

Anchorage Digital Bank has expanded its custody services to include Etherlink assets and seven other tokens, marking a significant move into tokenized commodities.

The addition includes tokenized uranium (xU3O8), wrapped XTZ (WXTZ), liquid staking token stXTZ, stablecoins USDT, USDC, and USDSM, as well as wrapped Ether (WETH).

xU3O8 represents fractional ownership of physical uranium oxide, which is stored in regulated facilities operated by Cameco.

This setup allows investors to access the commodity without direct handling or transportation, streamlining settlement processes.
