Anchorage Digital Expands Global Services with Standard Chartered Partnership
Anchorage Digital, a leading provider of digital asset custody services, has partnered with Standard Chartered to expand its global offerings. Through this collaboration, Anchorage will now provide USD accounts and access to Swift wires, including transfers to and from third parties, to eligible non-US institutional clients.
The firm positions itself at the forefront of integrating traditional financial systems with blockchain networks, enabling clients to manage both fiat and digital assets in a single account. Anchorage Digital's Singapore business is now offering these services, extending capabilities previously available only to US firms through Anchorage Digital Bank.
Clients onboarded through Anchorage Digital Singapore can transfer USD 24/7, even on weekends and holidays, with counterparties that bank with Standard Chartered Singapore. This expansion ensures that global businesses no longer have to choose between the speed of digital assets and the reliability of traditional banking rails.
Nathan McCauley, CEO of Anchorage Digital, emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating that clients worldwide can now hold USD alongside digital assets, send and receive fiat wires, and settle transactions around the clock, all on one platform.
