Anchorage Expands Institutional Custody to Etherlink and Tokenized Uranium
Anchorage Digital Bank has expanded its institutional custody services to support Etherlink and seven other assets on the Tezos layer-2 network.
The additions include xU3O8, a token representing physical uranium, as well as wrapped XTZ (WXTZ), liquid staking token stXTZ, stablecoins USDT, USDC, and USDSM, and wrapped Ether (WETH).
Anchorage's clients can now custody these assets through segregated accounts at the federally chartered bank.
xU3O8 has a market cap of just over $9 million, according to CoinMarketCap data. Physical uranium exposure is typically associated with specialist intermediaries and lengthy settlement periods, but tokenization allows for faster transfer and settlement times.
