ANDRA Introduces Platform for Institutional Tokenized ETFs

ANDRA has launched an institutional platform designed to integrate tokenized ETFs into existing market infrastructure. Announced on October 5, 2026, the platform allows ETF issuers, authorized participants, and market makers to add digital wallets, programmable transfers, and onchain ownership to traditional ETF workflows. Built on the Canton Network, a permissionless blockchain with configurable privacy, the platform ensures tokenization aligns with regulated records managed by transfer agents.

The launch follows ANDRA's regulatory milestone on September 4, 2026, when its subsidiary became registered with the SEC as a transfer agent. This registration provided the foundation for the platform, emphasizing the importance of regulated ownership records in institutional tokenization. ANDRA CEO Rali Perduhova highlighted the need to align onchain activity with existing ETF infrastructure, marking a shift from experimentation to practical implementation.

ANDRA's approach focuses on connecting tokenized ETFs with the underlying regulated records, rather than creating a separate market. The platform supports settlement, compliance, and digital distribution while maintaining privacy and compliance through Canton's governance model. Digital Asset's Global Head of RWA, Georg Schneider, noted that this step accelerates institutional adoption by integrating onchain workflows within existing systems.

In parallel, ANDRA has formed an industry working group to address operational challenges, ensuring that traditional ETF participants can work with tokenized assets. The next phase involves bringing market participants into the platform, exploring potential pilot programs, and continuing collaboration with industry stakeholders.
