Aptos Expands Beyond Financial Assets into Real Economy
Aptos (APT) is expanding its use cases beyond financial assets into the real economy. The blockchain infrastructure company has seen adoption in commerce, payments, and real-world assets (RWA).
L.TICKET, a platform launched by Lotte Group affiliate Daehong Communications on September 29, uses Aptos for managing ticket issuance and distribution. Giftiel, a mobile digital voucher platform built on the Aptos network, has recorded 1.3 million users and 5 million vouchers issued as of September.
Aptos is also gaining traction in stablecoins and RWAs. OpenUSD (OUSD), a dollar-based stablecoin issued by Open Standard, operates on the Aptos network alongside Solana (SOL) and Polygon (POL). The amount of stablecoins circulating on Aptos totaled around $1.2 billion as of September 21.
Global financial firms are also leveraging Aptos for RWA products. BlackRock's tokenized fund BUIDL, Franklin Templeton's money market fund BENJI, and Apollo's tokenized private credit fund ACRED all operate on the network.
