Arbitrum Boosts Derivatives Liquidity with Ondo Perps Partnership

Instruments
USDC ARB

Arbitrum has expanded its role in tokenized-asset derivatives by allowing Ondo Perps to use USDC collateral directly through its network. This move connects ARB with an RWA-focused perpetuals platform that processed about $5 billion in volume and holds $60 million in open interest.

Ondo Perps, a platform for trading tokenized real-world assets, has selected Arbitrum as the network for USDC deposits. This allows traders to fund their positions directly from ARB, reducing friction between its stablecoin ecosystem and Ondo's perpetual futures markets.

The development matters because collateral access is crucial for derivatives liquidity. By allowing traders to use USDC without relying on an additional funding route, ARB can increase its appeal as a platform for tokenized financial products.
