ArbitrumDAO Surpasses $6 Million in First-Half Income
The Arbitrum Foundation released its Bi-Annual Progress Update for the six months to June 30, showing $6.19 million in income for ArbitrumDAO. This is a significant increase from previous periods, with the collective gross margin on protocol revenue exceeding 97%.
This growth can be attributed to the expansion of Arbitrum's technology through outside companies that license and return a cut of revenue. The report highlights Robinhood Chain as a key contributor, accounting for $360,000 in July income under the Arbitrum Expansion Program. This represents 35% of ArbitrumDAO's July income.
The disparity between Arbitrum One and Robinhood Chain is notable. While Robinhood Chain carried $1.43 billion in decentralized exchange volume over 24 hours and paid $3.75 million in chain fees, Arbitrum One processed only $193 million and $14,746 respectively. Despite this, the network still managed to process 478 million transactions in the half, bringing its lifetime total to 2.7 billion.
