ASI Alliance Confirms $1.56M FET Exploit in Token Migration Infrastructure

The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) confirmed an exploit involving its FET token migration and bridge infrastructure after an unauthorized party withdrew approximately $1.56 million in FET from the converter.

ASI said its team responded immediately to the incident, which occurred on September 20, and is working with security partners to investigate further.

The alliance stated that its treasury and exchange wallets were not affected by the exploit, but about 8.7 million FET was removed from the contract as a result of the unauthorized activity.

Security researchers have identified the affected FET conversion contract on Ethereum as the point involved in the exploit, which also appears to involve another token within the ASI ecosystem.
