Asian Users Drive Cross-Asset Trading Surge with Stock Futures Volume Soaring 3308%

Share

The report by MEXC Ventures and Blockworks Research found that cross-asset trading is expanding globally, with Asian users showing particularly strong demand. In the second quarter of 2026, average daily Stock Futures trading volume among MEXC users in Asia increased by 3,308% quarter over quarter.

According to the report, 87.2% of Asian respondents said they planned to increase their TradFi trading through CEXs. This demand is already reflected in MEXC's platform data from Southeast Asia, where the average daily number of users trading Stock Spot increased by 153% and average daily trading volume rose by 348%

The report identifies several factors contributing to the growth of cross-asset trading, including a well-established digital finance ecosystem in Asia. The value of on-chain assets received across Asia-Pacific increased 69% year over year, while stablecoins enable users to trade both crypto and traditional assets through a single account.
