Aster Debuts USD1 Denominated RWAs Perpetuals With $250M Liquidity
Aster, a decentralized exchange (DEX), has launched its USD1-denominated real-world assets (RWA) perpetuals markets, marking a significant shift in RWA trading. The new initiative is backed by $250 million in liquidity from World Liberty Financial.
The launch includes five initial products: SPCXUSD1, CLUSD1, XAUUSD1, SNDKUSD1, and SKHYNIXUSD1, all listed through AOS-2, Aster's published standard for perpetual listings. The contracts allow investors to gain synthetic returns from a movement in RWA pricing without holding the actual asset.
Liquidity will be provided by $250 million of World Liberty Financial's WLFI allocation, aimed at reducing slippage and enabling market makers.
