AxLabs Unveils Simple Agent Wallet for Autonomous AI Payments Across Multiple Blockchains

AxLabs has released Simple Agent Wallet (SAW), a command-line wallet designed for AI agents to make autonomous payments across multiple blockchains. SAW uses the x402 payment protocol and supports Neo X, Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and Hedera. The open-source tool enables agents to inspect and execute payments without human intervention.

The Simple Agent Wallet follows an agent-native design with a CLI workflow that includes preflight balance checks, optional encryption, and native support for EIP-3009 and Permit2 token authorization flows on EVM chains. AxLabs said in a tweet: “Agents shouldn’t have to wait for a human to click ‘confirm’ to get work done.”

SAW manages three blockchain families from one configuration file, including EVM chains, Solana, and Hedera. The saw init wizard walks through wallet creation or import for each family, while commands like saw balance and saw transfer operate across all three.
