The USDC stablecoin has taken another step forward in its integration into traditional banking systems. Volante Technologies, a leading provider of payment solutions, and Circle Internet Group have announced a collaboration to enable banks to test digital-dollar payments within their existing systems.

This partnership will allow financial institutions to evaluate the workflows for minting, redemption, beneficiary wallet registration, funding, notifications, and wallet-to-wallet payment execution without requiring a separate digital asset stack. This means that banks can assess how USDC can fit into their current operations, enabling them to explore new approaches to payments, settlement, and liquidity movement.

Nikhil Chandhok, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Circle, stated: “As stablecoins become an increasingly important component of modern payments infrastructure, financial institutions need practical ways to understand how digital dollars can fit within existing operations.”
