Binance Alpha Listing Lifts Pons to New High Amid Cryptocurrency Market Decline

Pons (PONS) reached an all-time high of $0.52 on Thursday after Binance Alpha opened trading in the token.

The price move lifted PONS to a market value near $362 million, making it the 118th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.

The listing on Binance Alpha comes as the total crypto market capitalization dropped over 2% to $2.26 trillion, with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) both trading lower.

FLORK, another meme coin listed on Binance Alpha, saw a significant price increase of around 293%, adding more than 80% in value after entering the platform.
