The battle for supremacy between Binance and Coinbase has been raging on in the cryptocurrency space. However, when it comes to fees, the picture is not as simple as it seems.

A recent report by MEXC highlights that Binance is actually cheaper than Coinbase, especially for US residents. According to the report, Binance.US charges 0% maker and 0.02% taker on every spot pair since April 22, 2026, while Coinbase Advanced charges 0.40% maker and 0.60% taker below $10,000 of monthly volume.

This is a significant difference for US residents who are considering trading on either platform. In fact, the report notes that a $1,000 taker order on Binance.US would cost just $0.20, compared to $6.00 on Coinbase Advanced.
