Binance has confirmed that two employees who were detained by UAE authorities last month have been cleared and released. The detention was reportedly connected to an investigation into third-party fund flows.

The employees, whose names were not disclosed, provided statements as part of a routine inquiry but were not the primary targets of the investigation. Binance emphasized that it is cooperating with Dubai Police and other authorities in the UAE to establish clearer procedures for responding to similar inquiries.

The company has maintained its active license in Dubai, which covers exchange, brokerage, lending, and investment services activities. The UAE has become a key part of Binance's regulatory strategy, with the exchange expanding its regulated presence across Abu Dhabi through separately supervised entities.
