Binance Flags LSK, ACX, STX with Monitoring Tags
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has added monitoring tags to three digital assets: Lisk (LSK), Across Protocol (ACX), and Stacks (STX). These tokens now carry a higher delisting risk due to increased volatility and potential compliance issues.
The designation warns traders that these tokens have higher volatility and risk compared to other listed assets, and they could face delisting if they fail to meet Binance's listing criteria. Traders who wish to trade tagged tokens must pass a quiz every 90 days to confirm their understanding of the associated risks.
Lisk (LSK) has been listed on Binance since 2017, while Across Protocol (ACX) is a cross-chain bridge and interoperability solution, and Stacks (STX) is a Bitcoin layer for smart contracts. Although all three projects have active development communities, Binance's tag suggests concerns over recent performance or compliance.
The move aligns with industry efforts to improve transparency and protect users from high-risk assets amid increasing regulatory scrutiny. Token holders should stay informed about project developments and exchange policies to assess their risk tolerance.
