Binance Lets AI Agents Trade Crypto on Behalf of Users
Binance has launched Agent OS, a platform that allows AI agents to trade on behalf of users. The platform connects AI applications to Binance's trading, wallet, payment, and market data tools.
Users must authorize access before any agent can interact with their account, and they have control over permissions, including the ability to assign agents to subaccounts and revoke access at any time.
Compatible applications currently include Claude, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, and VS Code. These apps can connect to Binance without storing API keys locally, and users can grant agents access to spot, margin, Convert, and futures trading.
The platform is built around five components: Binance APIs, Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402, Skill Hub, and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server. The MCP Server acts as the connection layer between AI clients and Binance's exchange functions.
