Binance Lists Hyperliquid's HYPE for Spot Trading Amid Rapid Growth
Binance has listed Hyperliquid's HYPE token for spot trading, marking another milestone in the asset's rapid growth. The exchange added three pairs - HYPE/USDT, HYPE/USDC, and HYPE/TRY - to its platform on September 24, with trading fees set at zero BNB. This move comes as HYPE trades near $91, after a price surge pushed its market capitalization above $20 billion.
The listing also sees the application of Binance's Seed Tag to HYPE, a designation used for relatively new tokens that are considered capable of higher volatility and risk than other listed assets. Users trading Seed Tag assets on Binance Spot or Margin must complete a risk-awareness quiz every 90 days and accept the platform's terms of use.
Hyperliquid has experienced significant growth in recent months, with its perpetual futures infrastructure generating hundreds of billions of dollars in monthly trading volume during stronger market periods. The platform's fee structure also supports demand for HYPE through the purchase of the token from the market using fees directed to Hyperliquid's Assistance Fund.
