Binance Migrates Assets, Transactions to Simplify Account Structure

Binance has made significant changes to its account structure, moving certain assets and transactions from Funding Accounts to Spot. As of September 29, users can no longer deposit cryptocurrencies directly into their Funding Accounts; instead, they must use the Spot section.

The company's Pay receipts now also settle in Spot, although users can still configure Payment Priority settings to draw from either Funding or Spot. Binance Pay sends that rely solely on Funding will cease once the platform removes Funding as a payment source, which has no set date.

Convert orders have also been moved to Spot, with existing limit orders remaining open but settling into Spot after September 29. Users are advised to update their Convert plans' account selection and API references to reflect the change.
