Binance Sees $470M USDC Inflow as Bitcoin ETF Demand Hits 10-Month High
Binance experienced its largest single-day net inflow of USDC in six months on August 24, receiving over $470 million. This influx coincided with a strong week of inflows into US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which reached a 10-month peak.
The $470 million net USDC inflow marked the exchange's highest positive netflow since March 3, breaking a nearly six-month streak of lower inflows. This significant influx indicates more capital is ready to be deployed into crypto markets. However, analysts emphasized that a single net deposit does not necessarily reveal how or when traders will use these funds.
CryptoQuant observed that although Binance's stablecoin balances and ETF flows both rose during the same period, each reflects distinct sources of liquidity that cannot be combined into a single capital flow measure. The surge in spot Bitcoin ETF inflows and the sizable Binance USDC deposits marked a period of improving liquidity conditions.
