Binance Temporarily Halts US Stock Trading for System Upgrade
Binance is set to temporarily suspend its US stock trading services for a few hours in September. The exchange will carry out a system upgrade from 10:50 to 14:00 UTC on September 26, 2026, during which time users won't be able to place stock trading orders.
The maintenance window has been scheduled outside of US regular market trading hours, limiting the impact on active traders. Binance warned that the downtime could extend slightly if additional work is required.
During the upgrade, stock trading services will automatically resume once the system upgrade is complete. Users are advised to plan their trading activity accordingly and avoid relying on placing stock orders during the stated window.
