Crypto exchange Binance has been conducting simulated phishing attacks against its own employees for four years to test their security awareness. According to Binance chief security officer Jimmy Su, these monthly tests aim to identify vulnerabilities in the company's systems and improve its overall security hygiene.

The red team, an internal ethical hacking unit at Binance, conducts the fake attacks on employees who are then required to participate in remediation training if they fail. This approach is part of Binance's efforts to strengthen its defenses against potential cyber threats.
