An Arizona man's claims of digital-asset manipulation against Binance.US have been forced into individual arbitration, according to a federal court ruling.

A provision in Binance.US's terms of service allowed for class-action arbitration, but Judge Susan M. Brnovich ruled that Ryan Cox cannot proceed with his claims on behalf of a proposed class. Additionally, the exchange is exempt from antitrust-based claims related to suppressing HEX token's ranking.

The decision was made in the US District Court for the District of Arizona on August 27, 2026, effectively stripping Cox of his ability to represent the proposed class.
