Binance Users Add 16,349 BTC to Holdings Amid Market Shifts
Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has released its 45th Proof of Reserves report. The latest data covers August 1st and shows a significant increase in user-held Bitcoin balances.
The total Bitcoin (BTC) holdings on Binance have reached approximately 657,000 BTC, representing a 2.55% increase compared to the previous report dated July 1st. This marks an additional 16,349 BTC in users' Bitcoin balances over the past month, demonstrating continued investor interest in the market's largest cryptocurrency.
On the other hand, user-held Ethereum (ETH) and Tether (USDT) balances have decreased. The total ETH holdings on Binance are approximately 3.98 million ETH, down by 2.57% compared to the previous period. This represents a reduction of approximately 105,154 ETH in users' Ethereum balances.
The decline in USDT holdings is also notable, with users' total holding approximately 32.9 billion USDT, a decrease of 2.57% compared to the previous report. This equates to a reduction of around $870 million in USDT balances on the exchange.
