Binance XRP Reserves Plummet 2.1% in 72 Hours
Binance's XRP reserves have seen a significant drop of nearly 57 million tokens over a three-day period, sparking interest among on-chain analysts. According to CryptoQuant data, Binance's tracked XRP reserves fell from approximately 2.704 billion tokens on September 27 to 2.647 billion by September 30.
This decline represents a 2.1% contraction in just 72 hours and erases more than half of the two-week accumulation trend seen earlier. Between September 13 and September 27, Binance had accumulated around 100 million XRP, lifting its reserves from approximately 2.60 billion tokens to the 2.70 billion level.
CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha views this development as potentially bullish, suggesting that reduced token holdings on Binance could translate into lower near-term selling pressure for XRP. However, the analyst cautions that the data does not reveal where the tokens went and emphasizes that sustained reserve declines are needed to tighten supply on spot markets.
