Binance XRP Scarcity Index Crashes to Lowest Point in Two Years
The Binance XRP Scarcity Index has dropped to -0.94, its lowest reading since January 2025, indicating that more tokens are now available for trading on the exchange.
This shift marks a sharp reversal from July, when the same index hit a two-year high of 0.77, according to CryptoQuant data.
The Binance Scarcity Index measures how scarce XRP is on Binance compared with its normal/historical levels. A rising or positive index is typically bullish, while a falling or negative index is generally bearish.
Despite a 20% drop in Binance's overall XRP reserves since November 2024, the remaining coins appear more actively available for trading rather than sitting idle in cold storage.
