Bitcoin Adoption Debate Ignited by BlackRock's Portfolio Allocation Suggestion

Bitcoin's recent inclusion in investment portfolios by BlackRock has sparked debate over its adoption stage.

The world's largest asset manager suggested allocating 1 to 2 percent of a portfolio to Bitcoin, leading some to believe it marks a mature asset stage, while others see it as early adoption. Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley argued that the recommendation shows Bitcoin is still in its early stages of adoption.

Horsley pointed out that even with rising institutional demand and mainstream inclusion discussions, there's still time for investors to enter the market. He believes investment opportunities in Bitcoin remain open, suggesting it has room to absorb more global capital in the future.
