Bitcoin Aims for $100K as Market Optimism Reignites
Bitcoin's price has skyrocketed over 1,600,000% since its inception, making it a top performer among assets. A $10,000 investment made back then would now be worth nearly $164 million.
The cryptocurrency's volatility is well-documented, with prices fluctuating significantly over the years. The lowest point in 2026 saw Bitcoin trading at 53% off its peak, but it has since recovered to around $84,171.
Despite potential headwinds from macroeconomic factors and the AI boom, analysts believe Bitcoin could reach $100,000 by the end of the year. This would represent a relatively small jump of 19% from current prices.
The cryptocurrency's price follows a four-year cycle, with roughly 48 months between bull-market highs and bear-market lows. With the last bear-market low established in November 2022, there is a good chance that Bitcoin's bear market is over and the march higher has begun.
