Bitcoin as Pure Target Asset Bets on Global Liquidity Surge

Santiago Capital CEO Brent Johnson recently discussed his views on Bitcoin in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine. He emphasized that Bitcoin is not a currency, but rather a 'pure target' asset that bets on global liquidity increasing.

Johnson believes that as the size of digital assets and stablecoins continues to grow, Bitcoin will remain in existence. Additionally, he thinks that a global money supply surge could lead to a significant price increase for Bitcoin.

However, Johnson does not think that Bitcoin will replace the US dollar system. He also touched on his 'Dollar Milkshake Theory,' which suggests that global debt crises actually strengthen the dollar. He mentioned the 10-year US Treasury bond yield reaching 5% and sovereign debt crisis as key indicators.
