The crypto market has shown independent strength despite risk appetite in U.S. equities remaining cautious. The Nasdaq fell 0.76% on Monday, while Nvidia recorded its seventh consecutive decline. However, Bitcoin (BTC) returned above $80K for the first time in 101 days, gaining more than 20% over the past seven days and recording its strongest weekly performance since March 2024.

After the rally, BTC entered consolidation around the $80K level with approximately $360 million in crypto liquidations over the past 24 hours as traders reassessed the next direction following the breakout. The key upside level is whether $80K can be firmly reclaimed as support, while the $76K, $77K range remains the key downside support zone.

U.S. BTC and ETH spot ETFs recorded combined net inflows of approximately $2.6 billion last week, the strongest weekly inflow since October 2025. However, short-term holder profitability has increased significantly and exchange inflows have risen, indicating growing profit-taking pressure from earlier buyers.
