Bitcoin Bull Cycle Driven by International Institutional Demand
Cryptoquant founder Ki Young Ju believes that Bitcoin's current bull cycle peak may be driven by increased institutional capital and ETF demand from countries outside of the United States. Despite the US approving spot bitcoin ETFs in 2024, many nations like South Korea still face regulatory hurdles limiting retail and corporate access to these financial products. Ju predicts that wider international ETF availability, deeper stablecoin liquidity, and tokenized real-world asset infrastructure will expand global participation in Bitcoin adoption beyond US markets.
Ju notes that institutions are holding Bitcoin as a strategic asset, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are becoming more accessible worldwide. This broader access could mark the next phase of Bitcoin's bull cycle, driven by institutional capital and international demand for ETFs.
