Bitcoin climbed to $85,409.10, marking a 1.3% daily gain and a 3.0% weekly increase, despite failing to surpass its late-September high near $87,400. The global crypto market cap remained steady at $3.02 trillion. Ethereum rose 0.8% to $2,695.22, while BNB, XRP, and Solana also saw gains, with BNB up 2.3% to $780.97, XRP up 1.6% to $1.50, and Solana up 0.8% to $119.88.
Super Inu Force led trending searches with a 619.2% surge to $0.036386, followed by Edel and NEAR Protocol. Among top gainers, iExec RLC surged 96.5% to $0.7185, Handy climbed 73.4% to $0.002803, and Nockchain rose 36.2% to $0.028723.
OpenAI’s latest $30 billion funding round has attracted interest from UAE investment funds and BlackRock, potentially valuing the company at $1.4 trillion. Moonshot AI completed pre-IPO funding at a $50 billion valuation, targeting a Hong Kong IPO in early 2027. OKX is expanding its tokenized stock platform, with Uniswap founder Hayden Adams confirming its launch on Uniswap v4 Hook infrastructure.
Strategy purchased 334 BTC for $28.67 million, bringing its total holdings to 848,000 BTC worth $73.03 billion. Bitmine added 15,112 ETH for $40.6 million, lifting its total to 6,016,414 ETH worth $16.34 billion. The US Treasury withdrew proposed crypto surveillance rules, and Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net inflow of 1,918 BTC worth $164.22 million on October 5.
