Bitcoin Conditions Forming for $100K in Q4 2026: Analyst
Bitcoin's potential for a renewed rise is strengthening, according to Matt Mena, an analyst at digital asset investment company 21Shares. The conditions are beginning to form for Bitcoin to reach $100,000 in the fourth quarter of 2026, he said. While short-term price fluctuations may continue, Mena stated that the likelihood of BTC regaining the $80,000 level has increased.
In the near term, Bitcoin could retest the $75,000 level, but a resurgence above $80,000 would be considered a significant technical development for the market. The $75,000 level stands out as a potential support point, Mena noted. If current market conditions remain supportive, he predicted that Bitcoin could rise to $82,000 by the end of the month.
Mena's assessment suggests that the Bitcoin market presents both short-term correction risks and medium-term bullish outlooks. Therefore, investors are expected to closely monitor the price's potential movements around $75,000 and its sustained position above $80,000 in the coming period.
