Bitcoin Consolidates Near Highs After Bullish Breakout
Bitcoin (BTC) continues its bullish trend on the daily chart, with a notable breakout from a consolidation phase between $62,000 and $67,000. This breakout led to an impulsive move toward the $76,000 to $82,000 range, where the $82,000 resistance was tested multiple times before finally being breached. The price is now trading above this level, turning it into a key support zone.
Following the breakout, BTC surged sharply and is now consolidating near the highs around $84,000 to $87,000. The recent candles are relatively small, indicating a pause rather than aggressive selling. Lower wicks around $84,000 to $85,000 suggest that buyers are stepping in on dips.
The $76,000 area previously acted as strong support, and the move from $76,000 to $82,000, followed by the breakout above $82,000, forms a clear higher-high/higher-low structure. The rising trendline from earlier lows further supports the bullish setup. Volume spiked during the breakout but has since reduced, a normal sign of consolidation.
Currently, BTC is testing the $87,000 to $88,000 resistance zone. A strong daily close above this area could confirm another bullish breakout, potentially opening the way toward $90,000. Conversely, a rejection here followed by a drop below $84,000 could signal a deeper pullback, with $82,000 being a critical level to watch.
