Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit Record High, but Momentum Fades
The US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw their strongest week since October 2025, with net inflows of around $2.4 billion in the week to September 25. This brings the 2026 year-to-date balance from negative into positive territory for the first time, with a surplus of $934.1 million.
The daily series behind it is more revealing than the weekly total. On September 21, the funds took in $998.95 million in a single day, but on September 25, the figure was only $134.46 million, with $96.99 million going to BlackRock's IBIT and $49.32 million to Fidelity's FBTC.
The drop within the week is notable, as almost a billion dollars on Monday gave way to a mere $134 million on Friday. This indicates that the inflow has not stopped, but rather slowed sharply.
To spot fading ETF demand, investors can look at three measures: the length of the streak (seven consecutive trading days above $100 million), the size of individual days ($998.95 million is rare), and the distribution across providers (concentration in one fund indicates reliance on a few large addresses).
