Bitcoin ETFs Attract $2.3 Billion in Four Days: Can Momentum Carry into Q4?
Bitcoin ETFs have seen an impressive surge in inflows over the past four trading days, totaling $2.3 billion by September 22. This influx of money has pushed Bitcoin ETFs back into positive territory for the year, with a net gain of about $320 million.
The recent buying activity coincided with Bitcoin's price increase above $86,000, during which time the funds purchased over 26,000 Bitcoin using the newly added capital. This surge in inflows marks a significant turnaround from the first half of the year, when ETF outflows and a more cautious rate outlook drove Bitcoin's price lower.
However, with Treasury yields at their highest in a year, large investors may reassess their holdings at the start of a new quarter. This could impact the buying trend, as funds remain only slightly ahead for 2026, especially considering the higher yield on government bonds.
