Bitcoin ETFs Bleed $450M as Senate Blocks CLARITY Act
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced their heaviest single-day redemption since June, shedding $450.33 million on September 15.
This outflow coincided with the Senate's failure to advance the CLARITY Act, which fell short of the necessary 60 votes by a margin of 49-50.
Fidelity's FBTC and BlackRock's IBIT led the redemptions, losing $214.8 million and $161.7 million respectively.
The sharp reversal in sentiment was evident as spot Bitcoin ETFs had pulled in $159.9 million just a day prior on September 14.
