Bitcoin ETFs Drain $463M as Ethereum Sees $197M Inflows
Recent data shows that United States spot Bitcoin ETFs have experienced significant net outflows of $462.7 million, ending a three-week streak of positive inflows.
Ethereum ETFs, on the other hand, saw net inflows of $196.9 million during the same period, with BlackRock contributing $148.8 million to Ethereum investment products on Friday alone.
The ETH/BTC trading pair has climbed more than 25% in the third quarter, making it its strongest quarterly performance since Q3 2025. This surge is reflected in Ethereum's return on investment, which nears 60%, approaching its record Q3 performance of over 66% established last year.
The divergent ETF activity has sparked speculation about potential shifts in institutional investment strategies, but market analysts caution that a single week of such activity might simply represent portfolio rebalancing or profit-taking strategies rather than a fundamental capital shift.
