Bitcoin ETFs Log Second-Largest Monthly Inflows Since October 2025
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted a massive $2.7 billion in September, marking their second-largest monthly inflow since October 2025, according to SoSoValue data. This influx of funds indicates that institutional demand for Bitcoin remains strong.
The September inflows for Bitcoin ETFs were down from $3.52 billion in August but still significantly higher than levels seen throughout the past year. Meanwhile, spot Ethereum ETFs drew $832.43 million in September, their second-largest monthly inflow since August 2025.
Dominick John, an analyst at Zeus Research, believes the continued ETF inflows suggest a sustained recovery. 'With the Q4 bottom seemingly established, continued ETF inflows also signal improving market sentiment and a potentially more bullish setup heading into the final quarter,' John said.
The price of Bitcoin climbed 3.1% over the past 24 hours to $86,626, while Ethereum rose 1% to $2,735, according to The Block's price page. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index stood at 69, indicating that sentiment has strengthened without reaching extreme levels.
John also noted that traders will continue to watch ETF inflows for signs of sustained institutional demand, alongside key U.S. economic data. This includes the upcoming Oct. 8 jobless claims report, which will offer another read on the U.S. labor market.
