Bitcoin ETFs Lose Momentum as Seven-Day Inflow Streak Ends
Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded their longest positive streak in over 11 weeks, attracting nearly $1 billion across seven consecutive trading sessions since July 14. The funds brought in $981.2 million in net inflows, according to Santiment figures.
The period saw daily demand accelerate early on before losing momentum, with the strongest sessions coming on July 20 and July 21, attracting $226.92 million and $203.14 million respectively.
However, Thursday marked a sharp reversal as Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $225.2 million, ending their seven-day run. Despite this, spot Bitcoin ETFs still held about $274 million in weekly net inflows through Thursday.
The decline followed weakness across US equity markets and renewed tension between the United States and Iran, which pressured broader risk sentiment and saw Bitcoin fall as low as $64,600 before recovering near $65,400.
