Bitcoin ETFs Post Modest Weekly Growth Amid Ether ETF Outflows
U.S. bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) showed marginal growth last week, thanks to a strong rebound on Friday that offset earlier losses. The category posted a $6.2 million net weekly inflow after a $433.0 million surge in buying activity on the final day of the week.
IBIT led bitcoin ETF net inflows for the week with $120.7 million, while cumulative year-to-date inflows stand at $55.16 billion and net assets total $102.53 billion. The strong Friday rebound was led by Fidelity's $310.7 million and BlackRock's $108.4 million.
However, ether ETFs ended a four-week inflow streak with $56.1 million in weekly outflows, despite BlackRock's ETHA attracting $114.3 million on Friday. The group remains positive for the year with about $922 million in net inflows.
