Bitcoin ETFs Reverse Gains as BTC Dips 32% Below Year-Ago High
US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a notable reversal on Monday, shedding $89.9 million after two days of inflows. This shift came as Bitcoin (BTC) dropped below $86,000, trading approximately 32% lower than its October 2025 all-time high of $126,080. The pullback occurred just ahead of the first anniversary of Bitcoin's peak, with the cryptocurrency valued at $85,559 at the time of publication.
Prior to Monday, Bitcoin ETFs had attracted around $293 million over the previous two trading sessions, with total trading volume reaching $2.18 billion. However, the cumulative net inflows into these ETFs have since decreased by 5.8%, falling from $61.3 billion to $57.7 billion, according to SoSoValue data.
US spot Ether (ETH) ETFs also experienced outflows, losing roughly $51 million and extending their losing streak to five consecutive trading days. The funds have collectively lost $206 million during this period, with net inflows standing at $13.8 billion.
Other altcoin ETFs showed mixed performance on Monday. Solana (SOL) and Zcash (ZEC) funds recorded net outflows of $9.3 million and $3.6 million, respectively, while XRP ETFs saw no net flows after posting $3.3 million in outflows on Friday.
