Bitcoin ETFs See $3.8B Inflows, Narrow Annual Deficit
US-listed Bitcoin ETFs have been experiencing a significant turnaround in recent weeks, with nearly $3.8 billion flowing into funds over three weeks. This influx of capital has greatly reduced the annual deficit, which was around $1 billion as of September 8.
The rapid inflows are largely attributed to August's record-breaking month, where Bitcoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $3.52 billion, making it the best month of the year so far.
However, this positive trend is a stark contrast to June's heavy redemptions, which totaled $4.5 billion and weighed heavily on the annual balance.
The recent surge in inflows has put pressure on the annual deficit, which could quickly disappear if this momentum continues over the next few weeks.
