Bitcoin ETFs Suffer $450M Net Outflow Amid Price Decline and Policy Setback
The US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a significant decline in investment on September 15, 2026. According to Farside Investors, these funds recorded net outflows of $450.4 million, reversing the prior day's inflows of $159.9 million. This marks the largest daily withdrawal since June 24, when the funds lost $469 million.
The largest single-fund outflow on September 15 was Fidelity's FBTC at $214.8 million, followed by BlackRock's IBIT with $161.7 million in net outflows. Other listed products also recorded outflows, including GBTC at $44.1 million and ARKB at $17.4 million.
The decline in Bitcoin ETFs coincided with a 2.5% drop in the price of Bitcoin to $75,700 over the previous 24 hours. The timing of these developments also corresponded with the CLARITY Act failing to advance in the U.S. Senate.
