Bitcoin, Ether ETFs See $520M in Combined Outflows on September 16
The U.S. spot cryptocurrency market saw significant outflows on September 16, as both Bitcoin and Ether investment products recorded substantial withdrawals.
Bitcoin spot ETFs posted $296 million in net outflows, while Ether spot ETFs recorded another $224 million in withdrawals, bringing the combined total to approximately $520 million.
The figures point to weaker demand across the two largest U.S. spot crypto ETF markets during the session, with BlackRock's ETHA leading Ether redemptions with $110 million in net outflows.
Morgan Stanley's MSBT stood out as a notable exception, attracting $3.47 million in net inflows despite the broader trend of withdrawals.
