Bitcoin Fails to Break $87,000 Resistance Again
Bitcoin (BTC) has once again hit a wall at the $87,000 mark, failing to sustain its momentum during the current session. The cryptocurrency reached an intraday high of $86,996 on Monday, only to retreat shortly after. This level has been a persistent hurdle since the rally on September 21, when Bitcoin briefly surged to $87,397 before closing at $86,594.
The price has oscillated between $82,000 and $87,000 since that rally, with several attempts to break through the resistance. On Friday, BTC peaked at $87,249 but fell back to $84,454 by the end of the day. Over the weekend, it managed a slight recovery, rising 2.08% on Sunday to close at $86,507. However, the current session has seen a 0.48% drop, bringing it to $86,095.
Bitcoin has found support around $82,000 and $84,000 in recent weeks. A break below these levels could push the price toward $80,000. The ongoing volatility highlights the challenges Bitcoin faces in maintaining upward momentum above key resistance levels.
