Bitcoin Fails to Break Resistance, Continues Downward Trend
Bitcoin's (BTC) price took a hit during its latest intraday trading session as it failed to break above the crucial $63,500 resistance level. This failure has exposed the price to renewed selling pressure, with the cryptocurrency now trading below its EMA50.
The short-term corrective bearish price channel in which Bitcoin is currently moving has also contributed to the negative sentiment. Furthermore, the return of negative signals on the relative strength indicators after exiting overbought territory has increased the likelihood of continued downside pressure in the near term.
Unless the price manages to breach the $63,500 resistance level in the coming period, Bitcoin may continue to face selling pressure. The EMA50 continues to act as dynamic resistance, reinforcing sellers' control over price movements.
