Bitcoin Falters as Dogecoin Surges in Cryptocurrency Markets

Crypto markets showed mixed results during evening trading, with several mid-tier tokens experiencing gains but failing to lift the overall market's flagship asset.

Bitcoin struggled to maintain momentum and slipped 0.46% to $63,619.06, while Cardano and Avalanche declined by 2.47% to $0.19 and 2.06% to $6.30 respectively.

However, Dogecoin stood out as the session's top performer, surging 3.67% to $0.07 and leading gains across the eight tracked coins.

Ethereum rose by 0.52% to $1,881.10, XRP climbed 1.14% to $1.02, and Solana inched higher by 0.24% to $76.13.
