Bitcoin Group SE released its half-yearly financial report, revealing revenue of €1.59M and an EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) loss of -€3.25M. This represents a sharp decline in trading activity and fee intake compared to the same period last year.

The company's net crypto holdings stood at €199M as of June 30th, 2026, down from €356M in the previous year. The decrease in asset value exposes the balance sheet to market fluctuations, particularly in Bitcoin (BTC).

Trading on bitcoin.de has been paused since late June due to pending MiCAR licensing requirements. Once approved and relaunched, the platform aims to support over 100 tokens and staking services.
